Foot-pedal powered wooden spinning wheel with woman sitting on low stool spinning thread from carded wool; her booted foot extended to the pedal from beneath her skirt/petticoat. The wheel could actually spin when she pushed the pedal and her arm could draw the thread back, but would still look good if just a static image.
I have difficulty determining how many squares it would need to scale properly to place at/near farm residences and/or dyeing factory and the image might need baskets of wool surrounding her (maybe even a curled up cat watching) to use all the squares.
